Welcome! I’m Jill Vanderwall, an Instructional Designer with 15+ years of experience creating learning solutions in compliance-driven industries and education. Full Curriculum Suite

I created the NICHE Mindset curriculum to transform career exploration from overwhelming and generic into a structured, engaging, and scalable experience. Using Articulate Rise, I designed flexible modules, interactive activities, and authentic assessments that help students connect their strengths to career pathways while saving educators time.

RISE Onboarding

I transformed a client’s static Google Doc into an interactive, self-paced onboarding course in Articulate Rise. The solution saved hours of one-on-one training, ensured consistency, and delivered a scalable, engaging experience for every new customer.

Storyline Values Sort

I designed this interactive Storyline activity as part of the NICHE Mindset framework to help learners identify and prioritize their personal values. By sorting clickable cards into categories and reviewing a personalized results summary, students gain clarity that strengthens self-awareness and career decision-making.

My Process

I developed a simple presentation and job aid to teach K–12 teachers how to use VLOOKUP in Excel, applying the ADDIE process and Kirkpatrick model to ensure clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes. This project highlights my full instructional design workflow, from analysis through evaluation.
